Burundi is mostly known as the poorest country in the world, but for us it’s just home. Home is, before anything else, a blessing. We are cognizant of the fact that poverty and political instability are a reality in Burundi, but we also believe that the latter don’t stop our home from being a blessing. 

Home is the only place where dreams come true. Everywhere else, there is always a limitation not only to what we can take, but also to what we can give. Even though our home may be in bad shape, we can work toward making it better. We believe that the hope of living a better tomorrow and  the right to contribute in building the hope are at the core of what makes life worth living and giving.
